Join Our Team as a Security Officer

Our high-profile client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join on a permanent part time basis. In this role, you will take charge of essential security operations, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our team and visitors.

This will be a 7-day rotating roster with the following shift times needing to be filled:

6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm- 6am

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor access controls, fire alarms, and conduct tenancy patrols
• Handle emergency management from the Security Control Room and oversee traffic control
• Maintain accurate OHS records, including incident reports, hazard logs, training registers, and induction records.
• Conduct site inductions and authorize entry only after compliance verification
• Enforce security policies and procedures under the guidance of the Security Manager
• Manage mail services, including receiving, sorting, and delivering items, while handling suspect or unknown packages
• Build professional relationships and provide support to employees, management, and visitors

About You:

• Proven experience as a Security Officer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficiency in powers of arrest, crowd control, and First Aid
• Knowledge of OHS standards and compliance requirements
• Awareness of site-specific security challenges and procedures

Applicants are required to possess the following:

• NSW Security Officer Licence Class 1A
• Current First Aid certificate/CPR – Nationally Accredited
• Current Australian full driver’s licence
• Current RSA
• Excellent communication and report writing skill
