CONSTANT is currently seeking experienced Retail Security Officers to join our team in Townsville on a Part-Time and Casual basis.

This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in retail security or loss prevention who are confident working in fast-paced retail environments. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and assets, while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring CCTV systems and identifying suspicious behaviour

• Conducting regular foot patrols and store checks

• Preventing theft and minimising stock loss

• Responding to incidents and emergencies in a calm and professional manner

• Completing detailed incident reports and maintaining accurate records

• Liaising with store management and law enforcement where required

• Providing a visible security presence to deter anti-social behaviour

• Assisting customers and staff while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in retail security or loss prevention

• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and reporting procedures

• A valid QLD Security Licence

• Current First Aid certification

• Excellent communication and observation skills

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Availability Requirements & Roster:

• Thursday 15:00 - 21:00

• Friday 11:45 - 17:45

• Saturday 10:15 - 16:15

• Sunday 10:15 - 16:15
