Theatres Security Officers – Sydney

CONSTANT Security is seeking experienced Venue Security Officers for several positions across different sites in Sydney CBD.

At CONSTANT, we protect some of Australia’s most iconic and diverse entertainment spaces — from theatre productions and comedy shows to sold-out international performances and exclusive red-carpet events.

Please note: These are not pub or club environments.

Our venues operate primarily in the afternoons and evenings, across seven days a week.

The Role

• Engage with patrons in a professional, friendly, and approachable manner

• Perform door duties, front-of-stage and pit positions

• Manage crowd control in line with site procedures

• Proactively monitor and identify individuals affected by alcohol, drugs, or displaying behavioural or mental health concerns

• Conduct random and targeted bag searches in accordance with client requirements

• Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures

• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports

• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and venue regulations

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience working in licensed or regulated environments

• Current NSW Security Licence

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

• Strong communication and report-writing skills
