Retail Security Officer – Werribee

As a Retail Security Officer based in Werribee, you will be a highly visible and approachable presence within the retail environment. You’ll play a key role in deterring theft, supporting store teams, and ensuring a safe and welcoming experience for customers. With professionalism and confidence, you’ll respond to incidents and contribute to maintaining a secure shopping centre environment.

Please note: To be considered for this role, you must be available to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

About the Role

• Monitor foot traffic and proactively deter theft or suspicious behaviour

• Provide support to retail staff during challenging customer interactions

• Conduct regular patrols and maintain a strong, visible presence throughout the centre

• Operate CCTV, alarm, and access control systems

• Liaise with centre management and emergency services when required

• Complete accurate and detailed daily shift and incident reports

About You

• Previous experience in retail security or loss prevention

• Experience using CCTV and incident reporting systems

• Current VIC Security Licence

• Nationally Accredited First Aid and CPR Certificate

• VIC Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

• VIC Working with Children Check (WWCC)
