We are committed to integrity, excellence, innovation, and community, and value cultural diversity and inclusion in our team. We are currently seeking two (2) driven and reliable individuals to join Woolworths High Visibility Tactical Officer (HVTO) opportunity on a casual basis. 

We have various shifts available across Monday to Sunday between the hours of 10am to 9pm and will be shared between the two positions. Hourly rates for this role are aligned to Level 4 of the Security Services Award.

About the role:

This role is primarily responsible in supporting the safe and efficient operation of high-traffic Woolworths stores in North Melbourne and Sunshine. This role will play a key role in proactively identifying and deterring anti social behaviour and creating a safe place for team members and shoppers.

Key duties:

• Patrol Woolworths retail areas, loading docks, and key access points.
• Assist in emergency response procedures and ensure health and safety compliance on site.
• Support efficient movement of goods, maintaining compliance with chain-of-responsibility guidelines.
• Deliver professional and respectful customer service at all times.
• Monitor facilities for compliance with safety, security, and operational protocols.
• Assist Woolworths staff, customers, and delivery teams during critical operational windows.
• Complete accurate electronic shift, compliance, and incident reports.
• Operate surveillance systems as required.
• Liaise with management and emergency services as required.
• Uphold Constant’s core values while representing Woolworths and the security team.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in retail, security, logistics, or high-value asset protection roles.
• Current applicable security licence for your state or territory (e.g., NSW, VIC, QLD, TAS, WA, SA).
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications (nationally accredited).
• Demonstrated experience with CCTV, alarm, or electronic access management systems.
• Strong communication and incident reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
• Willingness to obtain or hold applicable checks (e.g., Working with Children, Responsible Service of Alcohol) if required
