As a Retail HVT Officer, you’ll be a visible and approachable presence deterring theft, supporting staff and customers, and responding to incidents with confidence and professionalism. This is more than a security role, it’s about community protection, service, and vigilance.

The Role

• Monitor foot traffic and deter theft or suspicious behaviour

• Support retail staff during difficult customer interactions

• Conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence in-store

• Respond to incidents such as shoplifting, disturbances, or medical situations

• Operate surveillance, alarm, and access control systems

• Liaise with centre management and emergency services where necessary

• Complete accurate daily shift and incident reports

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and legal requirements
  

Roster and timing: Monday to Saturday 17:00 - 22:00 (5-10 PM)

What We’re Looking For

• Current Security Licence

• Current First Aid Certificate & CPR Certifications

Desirable:

• Previous experience in retail security or loss prevention

• Experience using CCTV or incident reporting tools
